Mid Mod Design LLC was founded in 2019 by Erica Price. Erica has always had a passion for design and the visual arts. Even as a girl, her creative flare was evident as she was crafting houses out of Legos and drafting her personal dream home on vellum.  She also enjoyed drawing and painting houses, landscapes, and still-life.

 

In high school, when choosing a career path, the decision was effortless. Erica knew she wanted to become an interior designer and set-out on that mission. She enrolled in Anderson College in Anderson, South Carolina, and graduated in May of 2005. Upon graduation, her career began in Commercial Design for a Fortune 500 Company where she provided hospitality, corporate office, and a multitude of other interior spaces (spa/sauna, restaurant design, and higher learning).

In 2009, in preparation to become a business owner in the future, Erica enrolled in the Master's of Business Administration Program at her Alma Mater, Anderson University and graduated in 2012.

 

In her free time, Erica has provided freelance design work, but quickly came to the realization in 2018 that it was time to start her own business. In 2019, Mid Mod Design was formed. The name Mid Mod derived from Erica's absolute fascination with Mid-Century Modern Design. The clean lines and modern simplicity of this era appeal to Erica as a designer. Her house in Anderson, South Carolina, is even designed in this exact style. As a designer, Erica is extremely knowledgeable about the history of interior design and all genres, and will work with the Client to create a cohesive environment that incorporates their style into a functional space - both residential and commercial.
